Press Release

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Paul Mitchell (MI-10) released the following statement after President Trump’s address to the Joint Session of Congress:

“I commend President Trump for his focus on making our communities safer, improving our education system for all students, repairing our health care system, and restarting the engine of our economy.  As President Trump said, to get America moving, we must free the burdens that unnecessary, redundant, and poorly-designed regulations have imposed upon job creators.  I share President Trump’s commitment to deliver on these promises – starting now,” said Congressman Mitchell.

“Tomorrow, the House will consider my legislation, the OIRA Insight, Reform, and Accountability Act, to improve our regulatory system, to ensure it works for the people, not against them.”

This morning Congressman Mitchell joined House leaders in a press conference at the Capitol to discuss his H.R. 1009, the OIRA Insight, Reform, and Accountability Act.  View his remarks here.
